No. Mageplaza Affiliate extension only allows the commission if the visitors/ customers who haven't had any orders or registered affiliate programs when they click/buy via affiliate links.

Can the referral code as coupon be used at the checkout page?
Refer code as coupon is the new feature and it works the same as "Referral link" feature in the User Guide. At present, this new feature is applied in the checkout cart/ shopping cart. And it can be customized to work on the checkout page
