I try to activate the SMTP extension but I get this notice: This extension is not activated  Email address is invalid

All of our extensions need the core module to work correctly. You can download the newest core by the following link and update it. https://github.com/mageplaza/module-core Moreover, please use the common email like Gmail, Yahoo, etc. to activate.

SMTP does not working

I suggest you check again your mail server first. Please notice that our SMTP module is just a tool, your mail server should be able to work itself first.

To test its functions. Please follow this instruction https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa995718%28v=exchg.65%29.aspx Then you can ask your host provider about this, they will help you troubleshoot SMTP issues.

If you are using google, you need to do some extra settings, please follow this link https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en

If you did all the things or the host provider confirms everything is working, please let us know, we will check the issue for you.
